Our Buying Guide

Furniture and Housewares

We source and reclaim vintage, retro and contemporary products and furniture turning them into something truly unique for you to enjoy. Using specialist techniques in conservation, restoration and design, we recycle and refashion items using quality paints, waxes, varnishes, gold and metal finishes, fabrics, and a whole host of other products.

Where possible, we source these locally. Everything we do is about up-cycling and we pride ourselves in giving a new lease of life to something that might otherwise be lost to future generations. All of our pieces can withstand cleaning and every day domestic uses but we do supply care instructions for specialist items.

Here in our own workshop, we up-cycle gorgeous dishes and glass and using a unique blend of quality soya wax and oils, we create delightfully fragranced candles. Our candles burn at a low temperatures for up 25 hours, (Depending on the size of the container).

When your candle has burned away, we can refill your little piece of vintage for you, or it can be washed out with warm soapy water for another use. These make fabulous gifts that can be enjoyed for many years to come.

When we are up cycling a product for you to enjoy, we know that every decision we take has environmental implications. So, anything you buy from us, has either been: made in the UK, recycled, reused, ethically made, or is organic, will protect our wildlife or is sustainable.

The products that we use in our workshop are environmentally friendly and our packaging is 100% recycled or recyclable. To help you understand our eco credentials, we’ve come up with a simple system of coloured trees.

Planet Friendly Information

Getting your head around the different aspects of what makes a product environmentally friendly can be tricky. We’ve done the hard bit for you by researching the eco credentials of everything we sell so you can now make informed decisions about what you buy. Each coloured tree icon represents a different eco credential.
